MIRKO CASADEI, the new generation of the most famous Dance Orchestra in Italy-

Mirko Casadei Beach Band

For Music Ball Wine and Italian Delicacies

-

Mirko Casadei Beach BandThe CASADEI ORCHESTRA dates back its origins to more than 80 years ago in Emilia Romagna, a region in central Italy renowned for its warm hospitality, genuine cuisine and tourist resorts. In 1972 the Orchestra (thanks to the musician, composer and songwriter RAOUL CASADEI) became famous all over the world with several songs of original folk music. The Orchestra featured a popular, catchy and danceable sound; a sound which could not be described until RAOUL created a new term: “Liscio” (which has now been entered in the Italian dictionary with the meaning “ballroom dancing”)!

In 2000 Raoul Casadei left the direction of the Orchestra to his son MIRKO, who now makes international tours with his new pop-folk style. Europe, America, Australia, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba are only some of the countries he has embraced with his group, now called MIRKO CASADEI BEACH BAND. The history of the Casadei Italian Orchestra is marked by 40 records, more than 4000 songs and important partnerships on records and events. In the 90's it started collaboration with great international celebrities, thus marking its success on a world scale: from the show with the inimitable Gloria Gaynor to a song composed with the late Tito Puente, the king of mambo. In 2003 Mirko joined forces with the fantastic Kid Creole and the Coconuts and with Mario Reyes of Gipsy King Family and many others Italian singers.

Casadei sings about values such as family, tradition, love, friendship and he expresses these lofty ideals in simple words and melodies to be easily understood by the masses … the large audience, the most popular one. But the production of the music is also characterised by the highest quality from the technical and musical viewpoint, in order to be closer to the most attentive musiclover, as well. And all of this exists under the ever-flowing banner of music suitable for dancing. Dance Music in its truest form, to be sure. Mirko Casadei Beach Band live is a fun-filled experience. Outstanding musicians and artists really turn the Casadei Orchestra's "show-band" idea into fantastic performances. Performances that boast the fine blending of high quality music (always performed live ), dancing and theatricality. The main ingredients of this delicious potpourri: Mediterranean guitars, sunny accordion, a mighty horn section, abundant percussion and first-class solo voices and most importantly – a repertoire including all musical genres and styles (from Italian Liscio Dance, to pop music, to the greatest Italian evergreens and international hits …. Which never fail to excite and energize the public). Hercules Music Stands have been on stage with Mirko Casadei Beach Band during its last summer tour “Casadei Social Club 2010” and are now in his studio while preparing a new record; “The best ones I’ve ever used!” says Mirko Casadei.
