Wide Open School with Cesare Pietroiusti

For one month this summer the Hayward Gallery will transform into Wide Open School, a meeting and learning environment for all ages devised and fuelled by the imaginations of more than 80 artists from over 40 different countries. Among those appearing, representing Italy, will be Cesare Pietroiusti, the Roman artist renowned for his interest in the sociology of art and, especially, his works relating to money and currency. He will be in residence at Southbank Centre for up to five days during Wide Open School and will teach one class per day on a subject of his choosing.
