On Sport and Literature
The Italian writer Ugo Riccarelli meets in conversation with journalist Richard Williams to
discuss links between sports and literature, on the occasion of the publication of the English edition of Coppi’s Angel (Middlesex University Press, 2007), translated by Michael McDermott.
Ugo Riccarelli is the author of Il dolore perfetto, awarded with Premio Strega (2004) and Premio Campiello (2007).
Richard Williams is the Chief Sports Writer of the Guardian and has published a number of biographies such as Death of Ayrton Senna (1995), Enzo Ferrari: A Life (2002), The Last Road Race (2004) and others.
