The Italian Cultural Institute in London can only employ people following a public, official examination (oral and written) conducted by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to which we belong.
Please do not send unsolicited CVs or similar. Future vacancies for any position will be promptly advertised on this website as well, therefore we advice you to visit our site regularly.
I am a translator/ interpreter. Could I work for you?
In case the Italian Cultural Institute needs an interpreter it refers to the list of legally registered translators and interpreters maintained by the Italian Consulate General of London.
I would like to do an internship at the Italian Cultural Institute. How do I go about it?
The internships have been established through a Convention between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (Diplomatic Institute) and the CRUI, the Conference of Italian University Rectors. Further information on the rules, the candidates’ requirements and the list of Universities involved can be found on the CRUI website.

May I have some information about the CELI/CILS exams?
Information about certificate CELI/CILS are available on our website.
The Certifications of Italian certify the proficiency in Italian as a foreign language. They are addressed to all the foreign citizens, people with Italians roots living abroad and the foreign immigrants living in Italy.
No particular qualifications are required to take these exams.
